Welcome to Windsor Park!

Established in the 1950s, the Windsor Park Neighborhood is a diverse community of families, young professionals, lifelong Austinites, and recent Austin transplants. Just six miles from downtown Austin, our neighborhood is brimming with wide streets, large trees, well-tended yards, and classic ranch-style homes — all just a short walk from dining, shopping, and recreation.

Within the Windsor Park neighborhood, residents enjoy a disc golf course, ball fields, picnic shelters, basketball courts, a splash pad, a newly renovated pool, and a library. Ready access to bike lanes and public transportation make for easy commuting.

Climate Conversation – Extreme Weather

Climate Conversation – Extreme Weather

Record droughts in some area, record flooding in others. A polar vortex freezes Texas, then an atmospheric river replaces the waters of California overnight.  All of these forces are at play in our daily weather patters and science is trying very hard to figure out how to predict the weather future.

Barrett, Martin and Selwyn interview Dr. Justin Schoof, Director of the School of Earth Systems, Southern Illinois University, and Bruce Melton, environmental writer, engineer and photographer at the Rag Blog.

Watch our program live on our YouTube channel Windsor Park Climate Conversation, Wednesday August  23 at 7pm CST.  You can watch the program at any time after the broadcast, where you can find all of our previous shows available 24/7. Use this link: https://tinyurl.com/bde6yxet
