About Youth Career Fest: This annual event began 13 years ago as an initiative by the Austin Youth Council to expand opportunities for Austin youth and address rising teen unemployment. Since then, it has grown to welcome over 3,000 attendees and more than 150 participating companies and organizations each year.

With over 35,000 8th–12th grade students in and around Austin, there is plenty of room to grow — and your help getting the word out to families in your community makes a real difference.

Thank you for helping us connect Austin’s youth with incredible career and educational opportunities!
