WPNA Participating in Amplify Austin Day – Mar 4-5

In 2025 we voted to join the “I live here, I give here” organization which gives us the opportunity to participate in the Amplify Austin Day event. Amplify Austin day is a 24 hour event that starts on March 4th at 6 PM and ends on March 5th at 6 pm, but early giving is open now. Save the date, or give now.

We are a volunteer-run 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in northeast Austin’s Windsor Park neighborhood. The work of our membership encompasses a broad range of community projects, from scholarship fundraising to beautifying parks to providing necessities for neighbors in need.

Our 2025 accomplishments include:

• Raised and awarded $17,000 in scholarships to neighborhood college-bound students
• Organized Eco Fest in Bartholomew Park, facilitating the adoption of 700+ trees
• Worked with the city of Austin to develop the Small Area Mobility Plan for northeast Austin
• Held monthly meetings, facilitating discussions and providing feedback to officials on schools consolidation, transportation, parks, and more
• Fostered connection through social events, including open mics, coffees, and a holiday party
• Printed and distributed 40,000+ newsletters to keep neighbors informed and engaged
• Provided clothing and food to our unhoused neighbors.
