We want to share some important information with you regarding the proposed draft plan from AISD that impacts our community, so you can make an informed decision about the proposed changes. We encourage you to share your feedback with AISD trustees and representatives. If you do not have school-age children, please consider how your friends and neighbors in our community may be impacted by the changes.
AISD has published a draft plan regarding consolidation and closures of various schools in our city and created a related website, which includes maps of boundary changes for most schools. The Windsor Park neighborhood is impacted by these changes, specifically related to boundary updates for existing schools. Adjacent communities are affected by both programming changes and physical school building closures.
There are three proposed boundary change maps attached below for your reference — one each for elementary, middle, and high schools in our area. Here is the link to the AISD Proposed Boundary Change Maps.

We ask that you review the plan, watch the most recent AISD board information session and northern school Q&A with key stakeholders, and listen to what your community members said at the Windsor Park Schools Committee school workshop.
To share your feedback with AISD, fill out a comment card or send a letter to the AISD Trustees. A sample letter is provided on the post mentioned above linked here. Feedback is due by midnight on Tuesday, October 28. Any revisions will be reflected in the recommended plan presented to the Board on Thursday, November 6.
Upcoming engagement opportunities: You can register for a district-wide conversation on Monday, October 27 at 5:30p facilitated by AISD or attend the in-person meeting on Saturday, November 8 at 10:30am at the Delco Center.
Thank you for taking the time to review the potential impact to your neighborhood. Together we can shape a better future.
