Bike to Work Day is presented by Ghisallo Cycling Initiative in partnership with Get There ATX with support from WaymoCentral Machine Works, and Fueling Station hosts all across the Austin area.

There will be two Fueling Stations in Windsor Park. One at the Windsor Park Library and the other sponsored by WPNA at the corner of Berkman and Greenbrook in Bartholomew Park near the Splash Pad, but also check out the fueling station at the Peddler Bike Shop on the corner of 51st and Duval

Bike to Work Week will be celebrated May 11-17, with Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 15, 2026.

This year’s Bike to Work Day will include Fueling Stations all across the greater Austin area. Fueling Stations will operate from 7 am – 9 am and give out a variety of free treats like coffee, tacos, waffles, snacks, and complimentary bike tune-ups for commuters.

The City Hall Celebration (300 W Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701) will include City of Austin Council Members, Austin Transportation Department staff, and other guest speakers. Multiple groups will be in attendance providing information and swag from 7:30 am – 9:30 am. Breakfast tacos and beverages will be provided. Speakers will start around 9 am with a group photo around 9:20 am. The event will feature remarks by District 8 Council Member Paige Ellis, and Transportation and Public Works Director Richard Mendoza.

Happy Hour After Party – 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm and a Benefit Concert 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm

An end of the day Happy Hour After Party is being hosted by Central Machine Works (bike entrance: 4705 1/2 E 5th St, 78702) from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Food & drink specials for riders! Tons of picnic tables inside and outside, plenty of bike parking.

We hope you all also come to the Bike to Work Day Happy Hour (4:30-6:30pm) and Ghisallo Benefit Concert (7:30-11pm) this afternoon and evening thanks to Central Machine Works featuring The Droptines (8pm) and Coleman Jennings (9pm).

$5 beers and $5 chips and salsa for cyclists from 4:30-6:30, tons of picnic tables inside and outside, plenty of bike parking. Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers is providing additional Happy Hour Hand-Ups so that the first 100 attendees will receive a $2-off token to use towards your food and/or drink purchase.
