The FY26 proposed budget has been prepared and WPNA members will have an opportunity to vote on adoption of the budget during the November meeting.  Attached below is the proposed draft budget.

As we make updates, the attached budget document will change, this is the first version presented on October 11th.

Key highlights include:

  • Increasing donation income by offering merchandise (start representing our neighborhood with shirts and tote bags designed by Andrew Knight and Jackie Brooks) and increasing membership (encourage your friends and neighbors to join our organization).
  • Expenses for 2026 are expected to increase primarily due to the rising cost of newsletter printing.
  • We are still expected to carryover ~$1k to 2027, and this coupled with our carryover from 2025 into 2026 allows us to continue hearing ideas about ways to give back to the community, as we have previously done with Delwood Baseball and the proposed measure to provide grants to local AISD zoned schools.
